The OpportunityThe Officer- MEAL is mainly responsible to provide adequate support in the areas of monitoring, evaluation, accountability, learning and knowledge management, research, reporting to ensure efficient and effective MEAL system is being implemented in the project under the assigned sector complying with Save the Children International (SCI) standards and procedures. This person will be responsible to implement MEAL system at project level to track project progress and implement Quality Benchmark (QB), accountability system, facilitate learning and knowledge management mechanisms at project level. S/he will be responsible to develop data collection tools, orient data collectors and supervise data collection. S/he will also be responsible to ensure quality of data, data management, updating the MEAL database and analysing MEAL data at key intervals. S/he will support to conduct training/workshops to build capacity of the project staffs on MEAL and provide them with ongoing MEAL technical support. S/he will coordinate with Manager-MEAL for providing support sector to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports for the country Office (CO), donor and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and experience•    At least 3 years working experience and knowledge in MEAL, preferably in community resilience projects.•    Proven working experience in community-based projects. •    Proven campaign management skills for climate action and multi-stakeholder collaboration.•    Sound understating on the national and international climate change adaptation policy, SDGs, etc.•    Excellent knowledge of English (both written and spoken).•    Strong project management, partnership management and budget management skills.•    Basic knowledge and experience in Child Protection programming. •    Bachelor degree, preferably in Geography, Urban Planning, Computer Science, Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
