H.E. Dr. Nath Bunroeun, Secretary of State of MoEYS and high representative of H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sport attended the Official Launch Ceremony of the "Building the Climate Resilience of Children and Communities through Education Sector" (BRACE) Project. The event was also attended by H.E. Meas Chantida, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Environment, Mr. Hong Reaksmey, Save the Children in Cambodia's Country Director, Mr. Nick Ireland, Climate Change Director of Save the Children Australia and leaders from MoEYS and the Ministry of Environment, development partners, and technical officials from relevant departments.Through a partnership between the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport and Save the Children in Cambodia, this initiative aims to transform 240 primary schools across Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Cham, and Koh Kong provinces into safe and climate-resilient learning environments. This project is supported by @GCFOfficial (GCF) and @Global Partnership for Education (GPE).
