What we do
Save the Children has been working in Myanmar since 1995. During that time, we have developed innovative programmes to help address the most critical issues impacting children nationwide. Our programmes include:
Ensuring food security for children and families affected by crisis, while creating income-generating opportunities to support self-reliance and resilience during recovery.
Protecting children and families affected by crisis from preventable diseases and avoidable deaths by improving access to and utilization of essential health, nutrition, and WASH services.
Ensuring children receive continuous, quality education in a safe environment.
Protecting children affected by crisis through support from their families and communities, with services tailored to meet their specific needs.
